9 DAYS / 8 NIGHTS - SOUTHERN MYANMAR

(KAWTHAUNG  -  MERGUI ISLAND - DAWEI - KAWTHAUNG)
 

DAY 1: KAWTHAUNG / ARRIVAL

Arrival in Kawthaung.

Your guide will pick you up at the Kawthaung jetty immigration and transfer to your hotel. Pls discuss with your guide the time you wish to be picked up for your sightseeing in Kawthaung. Overnight at hotel of your choice (see below).

DAY 2: KAWTHAUNG  - TAUNG LA BO - 115 ISLAND 

Our service starts from Myo Ma Jetty in Kawthaung. Mergui Princess’s representative will pick you up at your hotel or airport and transfer to jetty to embark on board. After immigration clearance captain will strat to drive heading to Taung La Bo Island where you can enjoy snorkeling and swimming by island for an hours. After that cruise captain will continue his cruising to 115 Islands group. While cruising you can do sun bathing on the sun deck on the board.

DAY 3: 115 ISLAND  - 254 BEACH  - 256 CREEK

Enjoy your breakfast prepared by the Chef of Mergui Princess. Snorkel  crystal clear waters  with its colorful school of fishes, hard and soft corals.  Spend time on hiking and jungle trekking through the rain forest. This is THE place where discover the pristine ultra white powedered sand beaches. No wonder  visitors still come from all around to splash up some fun, sink their toes in the sand and soak in the serenity of the sea surrounding them.

 

DAY 4: 256 CREEK - NGA MAN ISLAND - KYUN PHILA

After breakfast onboard, cruise will depart to Nga Mann Island  where we will do an hour snorkeling. This place is very nice to snorkeling because where can be seen hard and soft coral, various colorful fishes, big leeches. A Cave is under water where so many kinds of fishes can be seen. After lunch on board, continue to Kyun Phila (Great Swinton) which is one of the most popular and beautiful island in Mergui Archipelago.Enjoy dinner and overnight onboard by Kyun Phila.

 

DAY 5: KYUN PHILA ISLAND - MYUAK NI ISLAND - THAY YAE ISLAND

After breakfast  explore Kyun Phila village and interconnect with its people and learn more about the daily life of the fisher men. Board your cruise and head to Myauk Ni Island for another beautiful round of snorkeling.  Continue to Thay Yae Island for your overnight on board near the island.

 

DAY 6: THAY YAE ISLAND - KAWTHAUNG - DAWEI

After breakfast  get ready to disembark the boat, and have a transfer to the airport for your flight to Dawei, where your guide awaits you. Get a glimpse of Southeast Myanmar's capital. Visit Shwethalyaung Daw Mu, certainly the most beautiful of the reclining Buddha’s in the South, and with  255 ft length the 2nd largest Myanmar's. The best time to see the Buddha is mid to late afternoon when the lower sun reflects directly off the golden body.
 

DAY 7: DAWEI - NABULE/KA NANDA PAGODA

After breakfast excursion to one of the many pristine beaches. Away from the Dawei Peninsula, this seemingly endless and empty stretch of brilliant white sand can be found 18 km north of Maungmagan. At the Pagoda walk down the narrow garden path to the large golden beach broken up into three bays by large granite boulders the largest of which crowned with a small golden stupa. Climb across the rocks to get to one of the most secluded beaches in Myanmar.
 

For lunch, why not go local? Near Hillside pagoda a small restaurant offers great views along the beach and out to sea. Back to Dawai discuss with your guide which sites to choose for the visit in the later afternoon.

The area around Paya Gee has a number of beautiful private wooden houses and monasteries built in a blend of Burmese and European architecture from the early 20th century.

                                      

DAY 8: DAWEI - DAWEI PENINSULA - DAWEI

After breakfast visit San Lan Village, where you find picturesque gulf overlooking  bamboo huts across the river over Kamyawkin Bridge. 
Another beach is the Teyzit Beach Teyzit, offering another beautiful white sand beach and amazing  clear waters clarity on the Dawei Peninsula. Upon arrival the kids from the fishing village will likely join you and do back-flips in the knee high waves. Ask your guide to help you to rent  a long-tail boat and visit one of the two small islands off the beach. Return to Dawei.

DAY 9: DAWEI - KAWTHAUNG

Time to get ready for your flight back to Kawthaung. Transfer to the jetty where you take your ferry transfer back to Ranong. Nok Air is the airline bringing you back to Bangkok.
