DAY 1: BANGKOK - KLONG TOUR
After check in of your hotel you start your journey After lunch time your guide will pick you up and drive with you to the jetty. Here you take a long tailed speedboat, which whisks you down the Chao Praya River and canals (klongs) of Thonburi. You'll drift past "floating kitchens" mobile shops and all kinds of colorful river scenery before stopping at the enchanting Temple of Dawn - Wat Arun. Continue to Royal Barge Museum houses the ceremonial barges used for festivals and ceremonies. Overnight in Bangkok

 

DAY 2: BANGKOK - TEMPLE AND JIM THOMPSON HOUSE(B)
After breakfast at about 8 am your guide will pick you up to experience the monks early morning chanting ritual (chanting starts at 09.00 Hrs). After this uplifting and often private experience visit the temple grounds and the famous 45-metre reclining Buddha. Wat Pho is the oldest and largest Wat in Bangkok Originated in the 16th century. It houses the largest reclining Buddha statue in Thailand as well as the greatest number of Buddha images. Wat Pho is also the center for traditional Thai medicine and a learning center for Thai massage.
Continue to the Grand Palace, Thailand's most important landmark, where you will be awed by the grandeur and majestic of the building and its throne halls; marvel at the mysterious Emerald Buddha, the most revered Buddha image in Thailand.
Continue from here to the Jim Thompson House. The collection of six buildings represent some of the best of traditional Thai architecture. Many of the houses were at least two centuries old. Although open to the public, the house is not open to big tour groups, which is one of the reasons more people don't visit. There s a nice restaurant to chill out! At night visit the night bazaar or shop at at the Patpong area  where you find hundreds of little stalls along the Silom  Road. Overnight in Bangkok.

 

DAY 3: BANGKOK - AYUTHAYA - BANGKOK (B)
After breakfast your guide will pick you up at your hotel at 8.00 AM. You will have a full day excursion to one of Thailand's most historical attractions. You will drive by car to Ayuthaya and come back by boat. Visit three of the most important of the ruined temples in Ayathaya historical park. Then continue to Bang Pa In to see the summer palacebuilt by King Rama IV at a time of growing European influence in Thailand. Return to Bangkok down the Chao Phraya River on the luxurious , air - conditioned cruise the Grand Pearl. Enjoy a superb buffet lunch while witnessing rural Thai life along both sides of the River of Kings. Arrive in Bangkok and transfer back to your hotel late afternoon. ) Overnight in Bangkok.

 

 

DAY 4: BANGKOK - FLOATING MARKET - BANGKOK (B)

After breakfast  drive south of Bangkok to Samut Songkham province. First stop at an amazing country market along the railway tracks before you continue to visit Damnoen Saduak Floating Market in Rachaburi province. Take a long tail boat through the canals and see how Thai people live alongside the labyrinth of canals in this area. Arrive at the famous Damnoen Saduak market where you can stroll around the colorful floating market place bustling with boats and venders selling tropical fruits and other delights. Return to Bangkok early afternoon and transfer to hotel. Rest of the time at leisure. Overnight in Bangkok.

 

 

DAY 5: BANGKOK - VIMANMEK MANSION AND ART OF KINGKOM -  BANGKOK (B)

After breakfast your guide will bring you to the Vimanmek Mansion, the world's largest teak wood building. Thismasterpiece was originally built on the island of Kor Si Chang in 1868 and then moved piece by piece to Bangkok where it was used by King Rama V as his residence. Its 81 rooms are spread over three floors, which overlook a beautiful garden. Inside, many of King Rama V's possessions collected from international trips, are on display, including possibly the first bathtub in the kingdom. Behind the main building, a smaller museum houses a good selection of exquisite Thai handicrafts sponsored by Queen Sirikit's SUPPORT charity foundation. Converted from the stables, which once housed the king's albinoelephants, the Chang Ton Royal Elephant Museum sports a collection of historical pachyderm paraphemalia. Continue to visit Art of Kingdom at Parliament . Back to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. There is enough to do, to relax, to spa, to shop, to see in Bangkok. You don't know what to do? DAY 6: BANGKOK (B)

Set the alarm, get up early, go suburban and use sky train and taxis! Maybe  skip your hotel breakfast and experience a local breakfast with your guide? Then start your day with a visit to the Erawan shrine which is renowned for bringing good luck. The area is crowded with worshippers day and night and always wafting with incense smoke. Here you can watch Thai dancers performing for worshippers. Sky train to Asoke Road where the Siam Society is located. They painstakingly rebuilt Baan Khamthieng, an antique wooden house from the north; it's now a museum. Great place to view ancient Thai manuscripts, art and gardens.
